The Big Picture

Everytime I find any details of a Morle event (birth, marriage or death) I keep the details in this file. This file is sorted in Christian name order and lists 1,114 Morle events which occurred between roughly 1700 and the present day. These events are split into approximately 448 births, 304 deaths and 359 marriages.

There are 244 events which I have not been able to place into family groups. There are 63 births, 78 deaths and 103 marriages. I have extracted them from the file above and created this new file. This file is sorted in date order with the latest event at the top. This means that there are nearly one hundred Morle's who I have not been able to place into any of my family trees. This really is not acceptable so I would be grateful if anyone can tell me who these people are. If you have some information please drop me an email via the link below.

In addition to the main Morle groups 'A' to 'G' I have a number of new, temporary, groups. These are for small numbers of Morles that I have recently found to be related to each other but not (yet) connected to the main groups. These groups are all back in the 1700's and 1800's.

I have made a significant start at establishing the English side of the Morle family. Now time is being spent resolving the small details in an attempt to put the final bits in place.

There are Morle's in France, Italy and America. Much work needs to be done to sort this out.

In the early years of the 'F' family the surname 'Morl' is interspersed with Morle (i.e. the 'e' keeps disappearing.) There are a number of Morl people living in the UK.
